Not really? Are you absolutely sure it's a dummy file that you're hexing on? Mine only crashes if I'm zoomed in too close and/or somehow like move the camera through the horse when I'm turning/rotating it. So I always zoom out as far as possible and stay that way to avoid that.
Edit: I also always get crash reports from PW if it's open and I do something on my computer like install a program or plug in a USB thing or something, but it doesn't actually crash - it's still open and just fine, just tossing out errors for no reason.
it happens when i try to spin the dummy, yea im pretty sure its the dummy it cam in a file and was labled but now im questioning it lol. I'll try to do the run as admin and zoom out a ways this time. i thought maybe the horse was just too big, i can hex petz just fine but its the horse that messed up my PW :/
To help with the crashing I was makes the scales smaller. Like 50 and 50 (under size and scales on the right bar). I do that when I need to fix something on the actual breedfile and am too lazy. That seems to help, but I’ve never had a dummy crash. Just make sure you change it back to the original though!
For the LNZ, you copy and paste paintballz, color info override, and outline color info override. Don’t really need to worry about anything else unless you change other things, like linez or addballz
Yes, when you change the scales, it allows you to zoom better without it crashing.
I’m not sure what you mean about changing a pet into a breedfile. When you copy the dummy info into a final breedfile you’re going breedfile to breedfile. There isn’t a .pet involved until you adopt off of the final breedfile in-game
Oh I thought you were talking about a horse. If you bred it, I don't see a problem turning it into a breedfile for your own fun, as long as you didn't give it out! I know people on PKC do it all the time. That's kind of a gray area though. I have a few that are bred pets turned into breedfiles, but they're all made up of breedfiles those people made. If you're uncomfortable with it, I'd skip it and just forget it. If you really want to, you can, but just for yourself.
What Gemz said, if you bred it you can do whatever you want with it as long as it involves only yourself. You shouldn't turn around and make a breedfile of it and then put it up for download or anything like that since it's not your hexing work that went into it with the balls/addballs/paintballs or whatever else makes it unique. But if you want a breedfile, go for it.
If you want a pet that LOOKS like that pet but doesn't have the genes/personality/required breedfiles then you can just adopt a regular OB pet (Dali, Lab, whatever) and copy and paste the entire adult LNZ section of the bred pet onto the adopted pet's adult LNZ, and same thing for the pup LNZ. Also, only do this for yourself and your own pets and don't give any away.
okay! i got this pet that is pretty cool looking that i bred and was hoping i could turn it into a breedfile to hex pets off of and sell or give them out
this is pepsi from my p5 game i use to breed in a lot of breedfiles back in the day XD so i wanted to make it a breed lol but i dont think im that good to make a file yet :/ maybe i could try to make a spunky aussie type dog on pw?? im so afraid to try haha
Yeah, making that pet a breedfile to hex from and give out wouldn't really be a good idea unless you give credit to all the hexers of the breeds that its made up of. Like the addball claws, ears, fluffy chest, paintballs and all that is someone's hard work. Probably best to either hexpaint off those breeds directly, so you can give full credit to one person, or create your own from scratch.
