The horses have reached the starting gate! They're all in line... andddddd they're off!

The field breaks well from the gate today with Rose Red and Run for the Money both flashing early speed and wanting that lead, Rose Red will gun it from the far outside with Run for the Money chasing as they lead the charge out of the chute and onto the main course after an opening quarter in 23.5. Rose Red will sprint off on that lead to open up four on Run for the Money, it's another four back to Vice Versa in third, Monhroe at her hip with Photo Finish between horses, Dark Winter up on theo utside four wide, Harley and Zippa tucked in behind those four with Golden Delight widest of all another length back on theo utside, a gap of two more now back to Vegas leading the second wave, Violent Femme saving ground at the rail with Darude Sandstorm between horses, Roma and Year's End our trailers as they run on through teh backstretch. Rose Red just bounding out into orbit now, she gets that half in 46.4 with Run for the Money still chasing in second, Dark Winter takes up in third with Vice Versa at her side, Monhroe retreats back a place with Harley taken to the outside, Zippa and Photo Finish running on midpack as Golden Delight is asked for more on the extreme outside, Vegas right there to her inside, anotehr length back to Violent Femme and Roma running ont ogether, Darude Sandstorm second last and Year's End bringing up the rear after six furlongs in 1:10.3 with Rose Red leading the way to the turn! Rose Red at least eight out in front here with the others having a lot

At the to of the lane with two and a half furlongs to go, Rose Red is still SIX IN FRONT and running along easily here with Vice Versa and Run for the Money trying to catch her! Vice Versa charging up the rail as they sprint past the quarter pole, Run for the Money charging on with her as Roma looks for room from the back of the pack, Golden Delight taken very wide on the outside here with Vegas just a beat back in the center of the course, Harley looking for room to go with Photo Finish and Violent Femme all boxed in together, it's a cavalry charge to the finish with Rose Red playing catch me if you can! Rose Red is still on that lead but she's losing it FAST now as VICE VERSA ROARS UP ON THE RAIL! Vice Versa charging into the fray here with Run for the Money at her heels AND ROMA HAS ROOM TO FLY! ROMA IS OFF LIKE A ROCKET AS THEY COME TO THE FINAL FURLONG AND SHE'S SPLITTING HORSES TO RUSH INTO CONTENTION! Rose Red beset from all sides now with VEGAS AND GOLDEN DELIGHT CHARGING UP ON THE FAR OUTSIDE, ROMA BETWEEN HORSES, VICE VERSA GAINING GROUND, RUN FOR THE MONEY RIGHT THERE IN THE THICK OF IT, ROSE RED PLEADING FOR THAT WIRE, SHE'S ALL OUT, VICE VERSA ON HER HEELS, ROMA CLOSING FASTEST OF ALL, THEY'RE COMING TO THE WIRE, ROSE RED, VICE VERSA, ROSE RED HOLDING ONNNNN----

ROSE RED gets by on the skin of her nose to graduate in class! Vice Versa was second, Run for the Money third, Roma a fast closing fourth and Vegas fifth.
