I want to do with the hex v2 downloaded texture. I start with a dummy. I then copied into LNZ: [Paint Ballz], and [Outline Color Override]. What to copy that the horse was with a scheduled texture? Also, an additional question. What should be copied to create my own mod?
Under the Color Info Override section, you have to add 1,[texture number] after anything you do there.
So by default, if you add a texture to a file, it would be the fifth texture (as you count textures from 0, not 1). So it would look like this:
Color Info Override 54, 105, 1, 5
54 = ball number 105 = colour 1 = group number (it's irrelevant/doesn't affect the pet but it is required) 5 = texture number
Obviously depending on how many textures you are using, you then modify the number (6, 7, 8, etc).
If you don't use Color Info Override, then you have to manually go through the Addballz section and texture it as well as the Ballz Info section. Usually texture is the last number but in the breedfile, it has little ;explanations that tell you what each column does.
I've found that even if I add textures to balls on the dummy in petz workshop and have it set to change color override, it never actually puts it into color override, so now I change them to some wacky color like 218 and fix it manually in LNZ just as Arty said.
