I really should do smaller show offs more often, that way I wouldn't bombard you all with a bunch of stuff at once!
First off is our two most recent additions, Moonmist Incandescence at Rhapsody, "Mithril" hexed by Daveena, and Rhapsody Twilight from Midgard, "Twilight" hexed by Aragorn.
Mithril is such a lovely dapple grey stallion, and he is the first Canadian Sport Horse at Rhapsody. I plan to acquire one or two mares to start a small line soon. He is a beautiful mover and fearless jumper so we are proud to have him here!
Twilight is a very pretty blue roan Westfalen mare. Roan is very rare for a Westfalen and almost any Warmblood, so I expect she will have quite a few people interested in her foals. Even if she were just a plain Bay, I think she'd still be a great breeding prospect because she shows a unique natural talent for dressage and is also quite good at jumping, she seems like a very good candidate for eventing.
Next up is Champ, the Charolais bull hexed by angora off of Daveena's cow file. He thinks he's big and tough until you put him into calf form and he becomes the biggest coward! Also, the Laptop ponies make an appearance! I've been slacking with them and haven't completed many of the challenges, but Sterling is all grown up now! Ravage and Sterling are both very well-trained jumpers. I miss having a baby to take care of!
Chaos and Voodoo are both from Neco's breeding service but I seriously slacked off in showing them off when I got them. If you've been to my barn that's where they've been hiding in between races. <3
Chaos is a lovely Bay by Secretariat out of Sassy Lassie, he is pretty impressive out on the track already, but even if he weren't, he's impressing me with his dressage skills, so if I can manage to get him to stand still for a halt, then look for us in dressage soon!
Voodoo is a lovely grey filly by Markham out of Urban Magic. She's doesn't have as impressive of a record on the track but I blame myself for that, not her! We have been working on her jumping lately and she's showing in dressage now. She actually will stand still for a halt.
Speaking of jumping, Aurelia has also been doing some rigorous jumping training since she didn't seem to be doing too well in the shows. We're getting there! But she is very close to finishing Grand Prix in dressage so we cut her some slack on the jumping for now.
Delight could also improve his jumping, so he's been joining in on Aurelia's lessons. Although I love him to pieces, he is the most uncooperative horse I have ever met. I couldn't get him to do anything except jumping so I sent him to Daveena to put him through his paces and finally we can enter some dressage and eventing shows...Meanwhile, Riddle continues to do very well in every discipline he tries without any training whatsoever, so we've sent him to Celestia to do some Reining to see if his streak continues. I missed having a baby since Sterling grew up so I aged all of my horses down and had a little foal-fest haha, that's why Riddle's a baby here.
