So I do not have time to race my babies to bring their stats up, so I run my horses in my game to keep their stats growing. I collect the data and when I get the time to work on SS I add the stats to my horses. That is why some of my horses reach GI or GII very fast. I stop using them in my game when they reach Grade One. My poor horses get beat up so when they race on SS, so I just want to help them be better able to stay up with the faster horses. I do hope that I will be able to hang out on SS more very soon, Love you Ladies, I have watched each of you grow into fine young adults on the PC any way =D
I'm sort of beating a dead horse here, so I'm sorry. I know it's being handled, but if everybody who raced had Gallop Racer and could adhere to the same system, maybe we could have a kind of workout record that goes a little bit beyond just regular training. Like, you run your horse in a few practice races and record their best times, and then report those to the racing secretary, and they could decide how many extra points your horse gets, usually 1 or 2, but in rare cases with a really good time, a horse could get up to 3 extra points to boost them in preparation for their next race. But not everybody who races has Gallop Racer, so that kind of system wouldn't work.
I know nobody wants to see their horses flop on the track, but that's part of racing. Our horses have good days and bad days. And then sometimes they're the only early speed in a race and they do just fine until every other horse in the field unleashes their closing kick and completely overwhelm them. I am so sorry, Royal Angel.
I kind of like that idea Jez but racing on here is already more complicated than any other discipline so we probably shouldn't make it any more complicated haha. But I'd totally love if we have a horse who never/barely wins we can have a re-training period where we can maybe get some stats or change one of their abilities in order to try and turn things around for them.
I've found that most of my second gen TB's are better racers. SO maybe the secret is breeding for better stats? Still puts people/horses just starting out at a big disadvantage.
I love racing anyways. I don't mind when my babies turn in last haha
EDIT: It wasn't too long ago when other shows had more than 5 entries, so many horses didn't place. Racing is just harder to improve because pose shows just meant you needed to get a better picture. Racing means you have to add points to stats ONE at a time.

I am sorry for doing training races with my horses, Neco pointed out that not everyone has gallop racer, so I will not do training races to up my horses stats. I get so busy with real life that my horses do not get stat increases much, which is why I did the training runs with my horses. I will not do that in fairness for those people who do not have the gallop racer game. I am very sorry and I will only race my horses in Ss races.
