Hello I'm attempting a mod at the moment but the legs on the standard V2 are too long in proportion to the body. Is there a way to make them shorter?
I tried doing it manually and raising all the leg balls but I couldn't figure out how to get some of the balls to move on the front left leg. (7, 23 & 9) which just made it look silly. Then I tried messing with the leg extension but it just looks weird. What am I doing wrong?
As far as I know, there is no way to shorten or lengthen the front legs without changing the Project Ball section and that is really complicated stuff and I've never found a guide for how it works. However, the back legs are shortened or lengthened with Leg Extension. For some reason Leg Extension doesn't affect the front legs at all.
You can get the illusion of shorter front legs by moving the chest ball up in the Move section, as moving the chest ball moves the entire torso and front half of the horse, but leaves the butt and rear legs where they are, however moving the chest means (if you don't move the rear legs) you're not going to have aligned legs in a level pose. But if you move the chest and therefore the front legs up, you can then move your belly balls and chest shaper and other balls back down, thereby creating shorter legs.
Or if you don't want to mess with moving the chest, just try moving your balls lower so the legs don't look so long.
Hope this is helpful, I've basically learned all this by trying it myself as there really aren't any resources or guides for it.

If you notice once you get into the addballz parts of the legs, some of the numbers are set really high? I apologize for it being so disorganized. But you really don't have to get into Project ballz at all. For the ballz that have the high numbers, use high numbers to move them. Experiment on one leg, then once satisfied copy all of the numbers to the other legs and you should be fine. The reason the numbers are so high is because I glued them in project ballz so strongly that it took those high numbers to get them to move at all. Sorry about that :<! Let me know if it works.
