Apparently one of my V1 horses would make a very good Akhal-Teke. Apparently none of the current mods fit with that ideal. Apparently I thought I could try to make said mod.
Apparently I thought Petz Workshop would be a viable tool for accomplishing this.
Several hours later about all I have to show for my efforts are a somewhat decent body shape, thighs that got moved in weird chunks because my cat walked on my laptop and a slightly terrifying reminder of why I always need to double-check the scales section in LNZPro.
This is as far as I've gotten with Petz Workshop. (Bootz the test horse does not like posing straight, apologies.)
Now, up until this point I've been able to use the actual Great Dane.dog file to make the edits rather than copying to or from a dummy. My two questions are currently: A) Is is feasible to modify the head (specifically the head and the upper mane) on the PW dummy and copy over the modifications to the main file without too much hassle? My main concern is that I'll get the head modified in PW and find out that it's the one thing that has to be edited entirely in the actual LNZ file. I absolutely need to give it a cute little fairy roman nose of daintiness and I will smash things that get in my way. B) Are the back legs looking acceptable despite the aforementioned cat attack upon their existence? It turns out that Akhal-Tekes actually have pretty narrow thighs, so I don't feel like they need widening or anything. My main concern is if they look too lumpy:
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;x;
An accurate representation of how I feel working on this thing.
You can move face addballs around in PW and transfer them to LNZ and it's not a big problem but you will have to adjust them in LNZ probably. But for a rough draft it can work!
My suggestions would be to make the hips bigger and the belly balls bigger because it's a little TOO skinny. I would widen the thighs a little bit too, not too much but some. Or maybe just the thigh/hindquarter area needs smoothing?
Compare the line of the belly from lower chest to belly to junk in your example picture, and then look at your mod, yours is a little too sloped, and the hips should be almost as big as the chest.
When I was working on my mod I found it easiest to copy the entirety of the modified add balls section from my Great Dane.dog to the PW dummy and then just copy the whole thing back over once it was modified to my satisfaction in PW. Idk it seemed easier to me than messing with copying over specific lines all the time.
