Just a few recent examples. Stuff from this year but dotted around between daily chores and working extra hours. Some are traditional with pen/pencil on paper, others entirely digital on photoshop. Enjoy!
A beauty and the beast inspired set of tack, currently up for auction to RP horses. I'm not even a huge fan, and I haven't seen the Disney film in a long time, but it just happened...I love designing tack.
A little pixel horse as a commission for someone.
This was something I designed from scratch for a birthday card for a friend at work. Its just a collection of his favourite fandoms (6 in total). This is all traditional - sketched in pencil, outlined in ink and shaded in biro.
And then because I missed my other colleague's birthday, I doodled this for her. Again, loosely sketched in pencil, outlined in ink and shaded with biro.
This one is all pixels. Shaded and coloured in pixels and it was the first time I'd done pixel art for a good few years, I think. (this came before the example above ^) (The horse is Heaven, same one from my signature
Heaven is literally growing up in my artwork right now, so this was a loose painting a little while ago of her having her mane cut and plaited for the first time.
A chibi style commission for someone of their peacock gened horse with an actual peacock. I've done others in this style and its a lot of fun.
And finally - the first time I've ever attempted to make an animation. It could have gone worse XD
There are just 6 unique frames but in a 30 frame repeat to create the rubbing motion. Saving it as a gif sadly made some of the colours and shades blotchy.
And that's all folks. I'm actually really trying to work on red pandas this year, but none that I'm happy enough with to share just yet
