Welcome to beautiful WOODBINE RACETRACK in Ontario Canada! Thoroughbred horse racing has a storied history in Canada, with our very own Northern Dancer winning the 1964 Queens Plate following victories in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes as the first Canadian bred to take those American classics. Little Northern Dancer would go on to become one of the greatest sires in the Northern Hemisphere and Woodbine and Canada can proudly claim him and a number of other champions such as Nearctic, Dance Smartly and Deputy Minister.
This is the first stop for Thoroughbred horse racing on our world tour, so let's see some international flavor as we open the racetrack for the first Canadian stakes races here on Seeing Stars!
