Dressage Clinic

Dressage is a world renowned sport of elegance and class, with horses asked to perform often complicated moves that they normally wouldn't even produce on their own. Dressage is the ultimate test between the bond of rider and horse, as well as a judge of your horse's agility and strength as your partner parades through the routine.

In our Dressage Clinic, you'll be asked to run your horse through four different moves of your choice - they can range from a halt, walk, trot or canter, along with any other complicated moves such as the piaffe or the levade. It is completely up to you which poses you enter! You will be judged partly on how straight and level your horse looks, and the attitude of the horse you enter.

Rules
You may enter unlimited horses!
You must have four poses to enter for each horse
Horses must be age 100 on brainsliders
Poses can face either left or right

Judging
Judging is based on two factors:
How straight and level your horse's pose is. If it's off by only a pixel or two, your horse will be not faulted as heavily as if it was off by more than five pixels. The horse's body must be as straight as possible with its head aligned.
Expression! Your horse must have a calm or happy expression, while a horse with a worried or angry expression will be faulted.

You will be scored out of a possible 10 points - if you get the full 10, you'll earn a +5% addition to any Dressage show you enter! Every two points (2, 4, 6, 8) will earn you a percentage point, so your bonus can range from 1% to 5% depending on the horse.

You ARE NOT JUDGED AGAINST THE OTHER CONTESTANTS! Each horse is judged on its own merit and will be judged as they are entered so you can enter as many dressage shows as quickly as possible!

You can choose from any sort of accepted dressage poses on the forum. This includes but is not limited to:
Halt
Walk
Collected Trot
Extended Trot
Canter

Plus any other complicated moves from our Classical Dressage Clinic from France!

Voodoo: 8/10 - which earns her a 4% Dressage bonus! Most of her poses are quite nice, and she's fairly level in the majority of them; her only minor faults were her head alignment, ear alignment and her worried expression in her halt.

Rhapsody 8/10 - which earns her a 4% Dressage bonus! Her alignment is great in the majority of the poses, just a few pixels off here and there; her head isn't the greatest in a couple and she gets docked a bit of her worried eyes in her canter, but she has otherwise fabulous conformation.

Yaaay for TBs!

Seriously more people who enter Dressage should post, the tour is almost over for Germany and these are FREE POINTS, PEOPLE.

He is straight in these pics, but rather than hex him with a gradient like I probably should have I went straight 69 on all of his body so he pretty much will always look crooked when he's not. Which is, along with the inability to pose level the same way other files do, not ideal for this mod. It's especially noticeable in the canter, where his back shortens up giving him the appearance of being very crooked even though his front legs have no gap between them.

"Rhapsody" is actually named "Vintage" but I'm sure I screwed up somewhere and put his barn name as Rhapsody because when I see "barn name" I think my barn's name lol, sorry for the confusion!

Pharoah - 7/10, which earns you a 3.5% Dressage bonus! He was just slightly off in too many of his poses, including his halt, and he had a worried expression in about half of them, along with a slightly off head. He does have some lovely gaits, however, and should excel in the Dressage ring!

Pippin - 9/10, which earns you a 4.5% Dressage bonus! The majority of his poses are on point, and he has a lovely expression in most. His head is just very slightly off in two of them and he looks a bit concerned about that canter. And honestly, I wouldn't even have noticed his shortened back in the canter if you hadn't said anything lol.

Delight - 10/10, which earns you a 5% Dressage bonus! This mare has some great poses and just looks overall fabulous. She has great expression in every single pose and just looks like a winner in each one.

Twilight - 9/10, which earns you a 4.5% Dressage bonus! Another great looking gal with some level poses, though her head is just a bit sloppy in one or two. Overall, however, she looks like a fabulous prospect!

Rowan - 9/10, which earns him a 4.5% Dressage bonus! The only real fault I could find was his head in the trot and passage - it's just a bit off, while his other poses look great.

Riddle - 9/10, which earns her a 4.5% Dressage bonus! Again, the only thing that caught my eye was her head is turned a bit too turned toward the camera in all of the poses; she also looks a bit worried in her last pose.

Skeptic - 9/10, which earns him a 4.5% Dressage bonus! His ears are just off enough in the majority of his pics for me to fault it, but damn that is a good looking son of Sent By Ares!

Chaos - 10/10, which earns him a 5% Dressage bonus! Though his ears off just a pixel in the first halt, I can't find enough to justify docking him any points. He looks fab.

Mithril - 9/10, which earns him a 4.5% Dressage bonus! His first halt is unlevel, but everything else looks great about him! Like seriously, he is sexy, what mod it this haha.

Woohoo, thank you! It was fun to work will them all and get these poses. I might be back with Aurelia's just for fun even though she's got nowhere else to go with dressage haha. Mithril is definitely one gorgeous boy, he's on Mak's new Canadian Sport Horse. <3
