Race Replay
Last week we started our road to the Sprint with a bang as dual classic winner Skeptic roared to a new stakes record and trounced last year's winner and Eclipse champion sprinter by over three lengths. This week, Hard Tack's Rationalist returns with a vengeance, looking to bounce back into form that saw him take the track by storm last year. He is joined by stablemate Dodger, a late running son of dual BC winner Phar Lap hoping to prove last week's 8th place finish was a fluke. Rhapsody comes in swinging with Chantilly and Voodoo, both quick running fillies on long skeins but proven graded stakes winners. Pollution comes in with Landon, another late running colt looking to build up an already stakes-winning resume, with Burning Acres joining the fray once more with the hard knocking Ziva. BlueJay rounds out the small field with the free-wheeling Shook Up, a young filly who loves the field and all that it entails. It's a small but quality field that marches onto the track here with graded stakes winners galore and speed built upon speed. Seven horses will take to the starting gate and it's anyone's race as we get ready for the 2016 running of the Bold Ruler Handicap!
