- Up to 3 entries per person, 14 horses total.
- Please double-check your horse's distance and surface preferences to make sure you want to enter them. All British Classics and trials are run on turf tracks!
- Horses of any grade level are welcome! Impost weight will increase the higher grade they are.
- Horses competing in this race will be considered 3 years old in the year 2019 and will not be eligible to compete in any 3yo races in future years.
- Competing in this race will enable your horse to enter into any upcoming 2019 British Classic races! A horse must compete in at least one trial/prep this year before entering a Classic race. (The British call them trials, Americans call them preps. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
- The first Classics are the 2000 Guineas (8F) on May 4th and the 1000 Guineas (8F, fillies only) on May 5th.
This race is restricted to 3-year-old fillies only!
If your filly competed in any 3yo race (the Triple Crown/Tiara series, UAE Derby, British Classics) from 2011 - 2018, it is ineligible this year. You can check this post and this one to ensure your horse has not previously participated.

... I never write these things so don't laugh >_>
As the sun edges towards the horizon, six frisky fillies are loading into the gate for the first British trial this year.
Rhapsody Stable's Djinn is the favorite despite her failing to win in her most recent starts. Her win in the American Davona Dale Stakes must be cemented in the minds of bettors. Riverside's Rhapsody is a close second choice, as this black filly has just started to find her feet in her recent starts after a long hiatus. Turn & Burn's Sagittarius has had a number of in-the-money finishes recently and is just a hair behind Rhapsody with the bettors.
Hard Tack Stables rounds out the card with three talented fillies with slightly longer odds - probably only because they have only just come back from hiatus and the bettors aren't sure of their condition. However, Kyoto Kitten rarely finished out of the top 3 in all her prior races, while Chiricahua is the daughter of a Breeder's Cup winner, and Messalina's sire won the 2017 Kentucky Derby as well as other notable races on dirt - so she will try to emulate that spirit on the turf as she starts preparing for the 2019 1000 Guineas.
