Azar would be an excellent eventing prospect as his sire was bred for show jumping and his dam's lines favored dressage. He's in excellent shape and has plenty of stamina to go the distance in cross-country. This affable guy has been overlooked by prospective buyers for years and his owner would really like to see him get into a permanent home ASAP where he can show off his numerous talents. He is sound and has matured into a serious horse that gives every ride his all - whether it's just a quick hack through the countryside, or a dressage competition in front of a large, noisy crowd.

Rain was a stunning foal with excellent parentage and her breeder almost kept her, but a prospective buyer for another horse spotted her as a yearling on their visit to the stables and made an offer that couldn't be refused. She was sold under a contract stating she must be shown in conformation and trained for barrel racing. However, the new owner didn't follow through. The breeder took Rain back and started her training for both conformation and barrel racing, but they don't have the time to devote to traveling and competing with the pretty mare. She appears happy to work and is obedient on the ground - she should do well with any experienced show home that can finish training her.

4yo Buckskin Pinto Campolina Filly


Alanza is a wild child and came to us as an emergency situation from another local horse rescue, who was unprepared to handle a devil in disguise. No one knows for sure this filly's background, but it's obvious she was barely, if at all, trained and has no ground manners to speak of. She is headstrong and very hard to control on her best days, and I'm tempted to throw her in with some of my chestnut mares to teach her some discipline. With thorough training she could become a great Dressage or Hunter prospect, as she has gorgeous movement, but right now she's a very wild filly.

9yo Grey PSL Stallion - AUCTION

Being a primarily American trainer and rehabber, I was unsure of taking in a young PSL stallion but his prior owner was in dire straits and didn't want his prized horse to fall through the cracks. This handsome grey stud was taught all the right things by his previous connections and is a joy to work with. He has a lovely flowing trot that just screams "PUT ME INTO DRESSAGE" and switches his leads and gaits effortlessly.

5yo Amber Champagne American Saddlebred Mare


Jetamio came to us a scared filly, having been poorly used by her prior owner and is now fearful of many things that most normal horses wouldn't bat an eye at. In spite of all of this, she's still eager to please and once she understands what you want of her, she's a very willing partner and will do her best to perform for you. She'd make a good halter or hunter prospect, as she is a beautiful mover.

6yo Bay Tovero American Quarter Horse Mare


Kalina came to me as a patchy-coated pony - she had a chronic obsession with rubbing and itching her body against anything she could find, and as a result, she was pulling out clumps of hair. This turned out to be the result of a deep anxiety and once she was put under lungeing training, all of her symptoms disappeared as her mind was put to a better use. She is now eager to work and thrives on having a job, but there is always the chance of her reverting if she's not given work to do. She'd make a lovely reining or barrel racing prospect, as she loves to run and thrives under high octane training.

Moonshine
2yo Grey Brindle British Thoroughbred Colt

Moonshine was brought in as a potential two-year-old pinhooking prospect from Tattersalls. He is an intact colt but he's as sweet as a puppy and has the propensity of sitting on his haunches like a dog in his stall between naps. He is very people oriented and eager to work, and so far as I can tell, has no vices. He is mainly a racing prospect but he has shown a propensity for jumping out of his damn paddock so he could also do well as a jumper apparently.

10yo Dun Grulla American Mustang Stallion

Traveller is considered a three strikes Mustang - if he's passed over 3 times for adoption, it's game over for this feisty stallion. He's already been passed over twice due to his temperament and I can't stand to see a horse with an expiration date, so this is his last shot for adoption. He's a stubborn horse that isn't very people oriented and gives off an air of tolerance more than interest. As such, he has been very hard to train and it often seems like it's in one ear and out the other. I'd only recommend him for very experienced handlers, as his stubborn streak could easily turn vicious if left unchecked.
