- Up to 3 entries per person, 14 horses total.
- A horse must have competed in at least one trial this year before entering a Classic race.
The Epsom Oaks is run at Epsom Downs over a distance of 1 mile, 4 furlongs (12F). It is the second-oldest of the five Classic races, after the St Leger. It is the third of Britain's five Classic races to be held during the season, and the second of two restricted to fillies. It serves as the second leg of the Fillies' Triple Crown.
All fillies will carry 123 lbs
This race is restricted! If the filly is not listed below, it may not enter!

Today, only four fillies will load into the gate at Epsom Downs for the 2019 rendition of the Oaks. The winner of this race will take the third Classic win of the year and second leg of the Fillies' Triple Crown. The final leg is the St Leger which pits the top turf fillies and colts together to go the distance and see which is the worthiest.
Many fillies don't attempt all three legs of the Fillies' Triple Crown anymore, because the step up in distance is just too much. However, winning just one of the five Classics marks the horse as exceptional amongst its peers. Since the 1000 Guineas winner, Rhapsody Stables' Djinn, is absent today, there is no Triple on the line this year.
Today, Regal and Noble Hierarch are sharing the top spot in the odds. Regal has been impressive in her last few starts, and she's finally scored some recent wins, while Noble Hierarch's close 2nd place finish in the 1000 Guineas and romp in the Chester Vase have cemented her status as a filly to be reckoned with. Purity isn't too far behind the two on the odds board, as the filly has gained some experience and a reputation for hanging in there. Messalina will finish up the field today with quite a bit longer odds than the rest of them - her competition this year has been unforgiving, however, this is horse racing and anything can happen.
It's time to find out which talented filly will take down the third Classic!
