Welcome to the second of four Win and You're In! races for an automatic berth into the Breeder's Cup Distaff The filly that wins this race gets an automatic berth into the Breeder's Cup Distaff on SS and waives any entry fee. The rest of the horses will accumulate entry points for that race or any other BC race of their choosing.

PLEASE NOTE. When entering, COUNT THE HORSES IN FRONT OF YOU. Only 14 horses max are allowed per race - please make sure when you enter, you are not over the limit. I do not want to have DQ anyone for any reason.

Royal Ransom, daughter of Breeders' Cup Classic winner Barbaro, finally broke through in her first win of the year in last week's BC prep to safely assure herself a spot in the Distaff. With a summer thunderstorm drenching the dirt track to soup, 10 fillies and mares make their way to the starting gate for their chance to join her in October. Led once again by 2015 Triple Tiara winner Athena Watchover, she seeks to end her skid in this year's Lady's Secret, with half-sister Chicanery, Belmont runner up Sovenance and dangerous closer Lethal following in her wake. Luna and Annabella, who was second in this year's Oaks, have also made their first appearance on this year's Breeders' Cup trail, ratcheting up the class factor and threatening to turn this race into a slug fest in the slop as the field makes their way to the starting gate.
