This is the 1st of 7 Kentucky Oaks preps on Seeing Stars! Any points your fillies earn in this race will be put toward a place in the starting gate of the Kentucky Oaks on May 6. Only 14 horses will be allowed to enter on Oaks Day, so enter as many preps as possible to build up point counts and stats! GI and under fillies/mares may enter! GI - GIII horses will incur high weight imposts to level the field.

Any horses that competed in the 2011 - 2015 Triple Crown trails are ineligible to enter this race. See this thread for a full list of ineligible horses.

With a blizzard moving in with an iron grip on the East Coast, the racing world once again turns its eyes to the newly-minted three year olds of North America as the road to the spring classics starts. Up first is the Silverbulletday Stakes for fillies, the first of seven preps that lead to the ultimate prize, the Kentucky Oaks. Without a towering standout like last year's Triple Tiara winner Athena Watchover, it's a wide open field but still boasts plenty of classic talent, blood and class. Champion 2 year old filly of 2015 Cyclone Princess boasts favoritism based on her prior 2 year old form, while standouts Rozlyn and Wind will also step onto the track, sporting pedigrees that scream distance. There's no lack of classic blood else as Armin (TC winner Seabiscuit), War Chimes (Derby 3rd placer Man o War) and SeaBlue Royalty (TC winner Seabiscuit) all take to the track, along with a number of relative newcomers looking to get a place in the starting gate on that first Friday of May. It's a loaded filly that heads onto the track, and it's anyone's race here as the clouds threaten to open up and the fillies head into the gate.
The Road to the Lilies begins NOW on Seeing Stars!
