This is the 1st of 7 Kentucky Derby preps on Seeing Stars! Any points your horses earn in this race will be put toward a place in the starting gate of the Kentucky Derby on May 7. Only 14 horses will be allowed to enter on Derby Day, so enter as many preps as possible to build up point counts and stats! GI and under horses may enter! GI - GIII horses will incur high weight imposts to level the field.

Any horses that competed in the 2011 - 2015 Triple Crown trails are ineligible to enter this race. See this thread for a full list of ineligible horses.

+ Fill out the whole form
+ Up to three horses per person, will race AT A MAX OF 14 HORSES

PLEASE NOTE. When entering, COUNT THE HORSES IN FRONT OF YOU. Only 14 horses max are allowed per race - please make sure when you enter, you are not over the limit. I do not want to have DQ anyone for any reason.

It's a snowy and soggy day once again here on the East Coast as we continue on the Road to the Kentucky Derby with the San Felipe Stakes! After an unexpected snowfall the night before, the track has been cleared but is still a sloppy mess as 13 colts take to the track for this second round of Derby qualifying points. Skeptic put on a show last week to cement his status as the best two year old colt in the country, fighting off a determined Ezio to take the Rebel with alacrity, and he returns this week in top form as the heavy favorite. Stablemate Chaos comes in as the second choice off a solid season so far with crack runners Rancor, Vintage and Warlord coming in as third and fourth choices all coming off sharp performances to hone their speed on this sloppy track. There is speed galore in this race with American Pharaoh, Dortmund, Bells o War and Native Dancer all eager for that lead and Ezio returns once more after several more solid efforts in closed company to see if he can run back to form and exact his revenge on Skeptic. The clouds are once more closing in as these 13 sophomores take to the track, and the threat of snow returns as we open the gates for the San Felipe Stakes!
