This is the 3rd of 7 Kentucky Derby preps on Seeing Stars! Any points your horses earn in this race will be put toward a place in the starting gate of the Kentucky Derby on May 7. Only 14 horses will be allowed to enter on Derby Day, so enter as many preps as possible to build up point counts and stats! GI and under horses may enter! GI - GIII horses will incur high weight imposts to level the field.
Any horses that competed in the 2011 - 2015 Triple Crown trails are ineligible to enter this race. See this thread for a full list of ineligible horses.

PLEASE NOTE. When entering, COUNT THE HORSES IN FRONT OF YOU. Only 14 horses max are allowed per race - please make sure when you enter, you are not over the limit. I do not want to have DQ anyone for any reason.

It's the first fast track in the series but the clouds are threatening to open up and dash that hope as 9 colts make their way onto the track for this year's Arkansas Derby. Led by reigning 2 year old champion Skeptic, the red son of Sent By Ares so far hasn't shown so much as a chink in his armor after taking the first two Derby preps with ease, rocketing himself to the top of the leaderboard and taking money as the co-favorite today. Rancor, showing massive improvement from his last prep, comes off a sparkling win in graded company to try his hand at taking Skeptic down again, with Bells o War, Dortmund, Warlord and American Pharaoh all ready to keep that pace pressure on in a race loaded with speed. Ready to pick up the pieces as Vintage and Chaos, along with longshot Nizmo, all three doing their best running late and ready to run back on several successful placements in the past two weeks. It's a warm spring-like day with the looming threat of rain and snow coming up in the forecast, and it'll be under heavy skies that these 9 colts enter the starting gate for the 2016 Arkansas Derby.
