It's a bright and beautiful day here on the East Coast and only the second fast track in the series will greet our 13 fabulous fillies as they step onto the track for this year's Fairground Oaks. The last two outings, 2 year old champion filly Cyclone Princess has dominated the competition and she is once again the bettors' choice as the odds on favorite, followed closely by top distaffers Wind and Rozlyn, who took the first two races in the Road to the Oaks, along with graded stakes winners, Armin, Antebellum and Charisma close behind on the morning line. War Chimes is the only other filly in single digits based on her last out Top 5 finish with SeaBlue Royalty coming into the series off a good third last time out, along with Honestly and Ambiance both exiting their prior starts in good order and with top finishes. The field is rounded out by several Open Level longshots who look to add some spice to the mix, and it'll be nearly a full field to take to the gate on this gorgeous near-spring day. This year's Fairground Oaks promises some intrigue on a track that's been playing to speed the last couple days and it may well be anyone's game as these 13 fillies enter the gate to put hoof to dirt.
The Road to the Kentucky Oaks continues now on SS!
