This is the LAST of 7 Kentucky Derby preps on Seeing Stars! Any points your horses earn in this race will be put toward a place in the starting gate of the Kentucky Derby on May 7. Only 14 horses will be allowed to enter on Derby Day, so enter as many preps as possible to build up point counts and stats! GI and under horses may enter! GI - GIII horses will incur high weight imposts to level the field.
Any horses that competed in the 2011 - 2015 Triple Crown trails are ineligible to enter this race. See this thread for a full list of ineligible horses.

It's a bright, warm and clear day here on the East Coast for the final Derby prep, the Wood Memorial. The upsets continued two weeks ago as Dortmund blazed to a stakes record in the Santa Anita Derby, defeating Skeptic by less than two lengths with Florida Derby winner American Pharaoh hot on his trail. This week, Skeptic is once again the favorite but only mildly as Shaska Stables' Riparian returns from a long layoff to try his hand at the Triple Crown trail. He'll come in as the second choice with American Pharaoh third in the betting, while top handicappers Rancor, Dortmund, Vintage and Chaos are all single digits, with the rest rounding out the field in the doubles as they step onto a blazingly fast track. The Derby gods are smiling now on this final contest before the first Saturday in May with clear skies and a heavy sun, and it'll be 12 colts to step onto the dirt for this final battle to the wire. Can Skeptic return to his winning ways, or will another colt enter the fray to stamp himself a contender to watch in only two weeks?
The Road to the Kentucky Derby ENDS now on SS!
