Race Replay
It's a race against the weather as we continue our Road to the Breeders' Cup as what's left of Hurricane Hermine trudges her way up the coast. We kick off our racing today with some fabulous fillies as six of the best turf ladies of SS take to the track! Last week we saw Royal Angel blaze to a new stakes record in her quest for a second BC title, and some familiar rivals are back once again to join her in that coveted starting gate spot. Hard Tack comes in swinging with a dual attack of Sorcery, second in last week's Flawlessly, and Bold Lady, third last time out and looking to get a return flight to Santa Anita. Rhapsody will unleash their V-team in Voodoo and Vice Versa; Voodoo looks to snap a winless skid while Rio gold medalist Vice Versa makes her BC debut today on the turf. Turn & Burn rounds out the field with their two distance-loving fillies, looking to cut back a furlong, in the form of Moxie and Vixin; Moxie is still looking for that breakthrough win while Vixin is eyeing to improve her standing from last week. With only six horses daring to brave the upcoming storm, it's a field short on numbers but high on class as these fabulous fillies step into the starting gate for this year's Memories of Silver Stakes!
