Race Replay
Last week saw Eclipse champion sprinter Rationalist return to his old winning ways after demolishing a quality field in the Bold Ruler and eclipsing a stablemate's old stakes record to boot! This week, six colts and fillies take to the track in a stellar edition of the Lost in the Fog, headlined by Rhapsody's star filly Charisma, who is shortening up considerably after running in the filly spring classics; Overdraft will also join his stablemate as he seeks to return to the Breeders' Cup under new ownership, and Riot will make his BC debut as he looks to make it a winning one. Hard Tack has only one horse today in the form of Dodger, second to his stablemate last time out and looking to make it back to back wins after taking this race last year. Polluted Stables returns with Landon, a consistent third last time out and on the upswing; Burning Acres rounds out the field with Ziva, a hard knocking filly that always gets a piece of it but hasn't quite rounded into form yet this fall. With only six horses coming to the dirt to contest this sprint, there aren't likely to be any traffic jams but it's a field full of the best sprinters on SS as they clash for the winner's circle in this year's Lost in the Fog Stakes!
