Race Replay
Last week we saw Ansia blow by the competition to equal her stakes record in the Sadlers Well Stakes, and it's a return of rivals old and new headlining this week's Yeats as six more horses vie for that third spot in the Marathon starting gate. Hard Tack returns with Eclipse champion stayer Empire City, who looks to avenge his third place finish last time out and is one of three speed horses in the field. Rhapsody is looking to blow the doors off the race with a triple threat - Accendere, second last out in the Sadlers Wells and dangerous on the lead; Warpaint, a Rio-placed colt that has rarely run out of the Top 3 and newcomer Secret Silence, a flashy brindle of a filly that takes a big step up in class. Turn & Burn returns with marathon stalwart Vixin, another speedball of a horse that is still looking to make that BC breakout, and the field rounds out with Black Water Estate's Hello, an ultra-consistent juvenile that has proven she can run with the big boys any day of the week. With only six horses in the field, it's still long on class and talent as they take to the starting gate vying for that third BC spot in this year's Yeats Stakes!
