Race Replay
Last week we saw Bold Lady storm to the finish lady with a furious off the pace rally, blowing past her rivals to once again earn a place in the Breeders' Cup. This week with sunshine abundant, seven familiar rivals return for their final shot to win a free spot in the Filly & Mare Turf! Burning Acres leads the way this week with their talented filly Armin, coming out of retirement to take on the best of her sex on the turf; Hard Tack sends out Sorcery, a grey daughter of top stallion Warranty, to try and use that blazing turn of foot to reach the finish line first. Rhapsody is back once again with Voodoo and Serenity; Serenity already has a sparkling win in Dubai on her resume while Voodoo is looking to end a racing skein. Black Water Estate sends out top juvenile Dance o War, a dangerous speed filly on both turf and dirt, while Turn & Burn rounds out the field with Vixin, a long distance filly that aslo loves the lead, and Moxie, another closer looking to improve on her 2nd place finish last time out. Seven fabulous fillies will take to the turf today as we kick off this last round of this year's Filly and Mare Turf qualifiers, and it promises to be a doozy as they all load into the gate for the 2016 Gentildonna Handicap!
