Welcome to the Dubai Racing Series, culminating in our run of the Dubai World Cup in just a few weeks! Meydan Racecourse in Dubai is one of the prettiest racetracks you'll ever see and has set the stage for some of the best showdowns racing has ever seen. Horses from all over the world converge on Dubai in the spring months of the year, and it is no different as SS continues its inaugural season, culminating in the Dubai Carnival Series headlined by the Dubai World Cup!
The UAE Derby is limited to horses that have raced in at least one prep for the 2016 Triple Crown or Triple Tiara!

Race Replay
We return to the dirt for a race only for three year olds and it's a who's-who field of top sophomores of the forum! Burning Acres leads this time out with top three year old Dortmund, medalist in Rio and a force to be reckoned with, and filly Armin, a graded stakes winner and filly with a sharp turn of foot. Hard Tack has a twofer for the ages with Cyclone Princess, winner of the Kentucky Oaks and Black-Eyed Susan, and colt Rancor, winner of this year's Belmont Stakes and archrival of Skeptic. Rhapsody roars into the field with dual classic winner Skeptic, winner of this year's Derby, Preakness and a two-time medalist in Rio, filly Honestly, Acorn stakes winner and top distaffer, and Vintage, a late running multiple graded stakes winner that has a tendency to mow down his competition. BlueJay Stables throws down with their top filly SeaBlue Royalty, a daughter of the 2012 Triple Crown winner and a multiple graded stakes winner in her own right. It's the best sophomore field ever assembled in SS history, and it's a shakedown for the ages as these eight three-year-olds load into the gate for the 2016 UAE Derby as the Dubai Carnival continues!
