Race Replay
Welcome to the first race of the Dubai Carnival on this gorgeous September day! Only six horses will contest this 6 furlong sprint on the grass, but they are the best of the best that SS has to offer. Hard Tack's Obsidian leads the way along with stablemate Boudacious; both fillies are among the top prospects for the Breeders' Cup and have enjoyed success in Dubai. Burning Acres joins the party with reigning Breeders' Cup and Rio champion Royal Angel, who looks to add yet another win to her already impressive resume. Rhapsody comes in swinging with a sibling and son team - Voodoo, daughter of a dual BC winner and graded stakes winner, Riot, son of Voodoo and a stakes winner in his own right, and Gambit, half-sister to Voodoo and listed winner as these three relatives each look to add to the family legacy. With six horses raring to go in the post parade, we'll make our way to the turf to open up in Dubai, with the always-exciting Al Quoz Sprint!
