Race Replay
Last week we saw Vintage barrel down the outside hedge for a record-setting win in the Goldikova, and this week only seven horses will try to join him as they line up for that last spot for the BC Mile!
Rhapsody leads the parade with Chaos, a multiple graded stakes winner, BC qualified and 2nd in this year's Kentucky Derby as he looks to improve on last week's poor finish; and Riot, a son of Voodoo looking to emulate this mother with a BC berth. Hard Tack rolls in with the familiar Boudacious, third last time out and only just missing in her last few starts, and with Sassy Lassie, looking to stretch out to a mile in a race she won two years ago and still holds the record for. Hawkstone returns with Danger Keep Away, a surprising second place finisher last week at long odds striving to prove that wasn't a fluke, and Enigmatic Lament, stretching out to a mile after his less-than-fruitful Turf Sprint tries. Turn & Burn rounds out the field with the speedy Onyx, looking to make a race of it as one of only two speed horses in the field and one of the toughest juveniles on the forum.
With only seven horses coming together to run on the turf, it's the last chance for all of them to win a paid trip to the Breeders' Cup and it's our FINAL BC prep of the year, so good luck to all as we load into the gate for this year's Frankel Handicap!
