Horses from all over the world converge on Dubai in the spring months of the year, and it is no different as SS continues its inaugural season, culminating in the Dubai Carnival Series headlined by the Dubai World Cup!

Race Replay
It's the first race of the Dubai World Cup card and we start off on the grass as six of the best turf sprinters of the forum vie for the title!
Hard Tack leads the way with heavily favored Obsidian, an old hat campaigner that was third last year in this same race and 2nd last out in the Breeders' Cup. She is joined by Boudacious, another hard-knocking mare that has already won twice in Dubai, and Chihenne, another flat out sprinter looking to try her luck with a jump in class. Rhapsody returns with last year's Al Quoz winner Voodoo, who is a bit longer on the morning line this time around after her shocking win last year, but has lost some of the form that saw her win here previously. Hawkstone rounds out the field with turf specialists Enigmatic Lament, a tough as nails horse that has hit in the board in his last several starts, and Deja Entendu, an allowance winner that is taking a big step up. With only six horses this time around, it's still a field that's high on intrigue as we load up into the gate for the 2017 edition of the Al Quoz Sprint!
