Race Replay
We move now to the main dirt track for our second race of the evening, for the forum's best dirt sprinters to take their turn at glory!
Hard Tack returns this year with last year's victor Rationalist, coming off a narrow loss in his previous race here in Dubai but still attempting to become the first back to back winner of this race. He's joined by race favorite Carrig, a horse that always seems to find trouble in his races but flashes brilliance nonetheless and Tizzi Rizzi, oldest mare in the race but a Breeders' Cup winner in years' past as she looks to regain her glory days. Hawkstone loads up with 2016 champion male sprinter The Final Apostle, a winner last out in Dubai and one of the most consistent horses on the forum; Burning Acres returns to action with Ziva, the second of three fillies in the field and looking to rebound off a troubled three year old season. Rhapsody rounds out the field with Derby hopeful Motive, a free wheeling colt that is dangerous on the lead and Chantilly, one of the leading contenders for this year's Oaks, when she can find room to fly. Seven horses will line up this time around for a six furlong slugfest to the wire as we load them into the gate for the 2017 edition of the Golden Sheehan Stakes!
