Horses from all over the world converge on Dubai in the spring months of the year, and it is no different as SS continues its inaugural season, culminating in the Dubai Carnival Series headlined by the Dubai World Cup!
The UAE Derby is limited to horses that have raced in at least one prep for the 2018 Triple Crown or Triple Tiara!

Race Replay
We return to the main track for the 3 year old feature, with 10 colts and fillies on the Triple Trail looking to make another statement in Dubai in this year's UAE Derby!
Rhapsody leads the field with Pagan, a front running colt that has had several near misses on the TC trail; Scandal, a black speedball that has multiple stakes placings but hasn't quite broken through; and Mesmerize, a late running filly that finally smashed that glass ceiling last out. BlueJay joins the fracas with Passero, champion male 2 year old and winner already on the TC trail; while Hard Tack throws down with Heretic Queen, champion 2 year old female and heavy favorite for the Oaks, Fulgurite, a top scoring juvenile looking to regain his form, and Acrimony, a half sister to Heretic Queen and treading water in the deep end in her most recent start. Hawkstone rounds out the field with Lady of Athens, daughter of Athena Watchover and a top filly on the TT trail; Other Worlds, an up and coming colt with deep talent despite a light record and Redeemed, another filly that finds herself floundering but still shows up every time.
The sun is shining and spring is finally in the air as our Triple Crown and Tiara hopefuls hit the dirt for this year's UAE Derby!
