Race Replay
It's the first race of the Dubai World Cup card and we start off on the grass as six of the best turf sprinters of the forum vie for victory!
Hard Tack leads the parade with heavy favorite Killer Candy, winner of last year's Dubai Turf and cutting back sharply in distance for this sprint. 2016 winner Voodoo isn't far behind and will look to redeem herself after several poor showings in prior races, and she'll tie in favoritism with Hard Tack's Chihenne, a top turf sprinter who is making her Dubai debut this year after grinding her way through the lower ranks. Shizuka also makes her Dubai debut after recently jumping in class, but she'll have to really show she belongs when faced with such stiff competition. Rhapsody's War Hero makes a reappearance after a year away from Dubai, and the speedy son of Man o War will be the lone front runner to set the pace in this year's sprint. Gambit brings up the rear as the longest shot on the board, a hard knocking filly that often tries but sometimes comes up short.
The sun is shining and spring is finally in the air as our field takes to the turf for this year's Al Quoz Sprint!
