Race Replay
We move the action to the main track now as we open for the Dubai Golden Sheehan, with a short but talented field of 6 top dirt sprinters each vying for the winner's circle.
Hard Tack leads the way with Dodger, top son of the sprinter Phar Lap and one of the best of his generation in his many years on the racetrack. He's tied for the top spot with his dam Tizzi Rizzi, another crack speedster that has shown herself to be consistent in nearly 8 seasons of racing. They're followed closely by Upstart, a TC contender from last year that has found his niche in shorter dirt routes and a picture of consistency. Chantilly isn't far behind and this white mare of Rhapsody has scored her own Dubai points in the past and is now back for more after a long layoff. Shared Belief, another former TC contender, is still looking for that elusive top level win after a disappointing 2018 season, but the dark bay colt isn't lacking in sprinting talent. Rounding out the field is longest shot on the board Gambit, a hard knocking filly that may be a step too far into the deep end of the pool.
The sun is shining and spring is finally in the air as our field takes to the dirt for this year's Golden Sheehan!
