Welcome to the Dubai Racing Series, culminating in our run of the Dubai World Cup in just a few weeks! Meydan Racecourse in Dubai is one of the prettiest racetracks you'll ever see and has set the stage for some of the best showdowns racing has ever seen. Horses from all over the world converge on Dubai in the spring months of the year, and it is no different as SS continues its inaugural season, culminating in the Dubai Carnival Series headlined by the Dubai World Cup!
The UAE Derby is limited to horses that have raced in at least one prep for the 2020 Triple Crown or Triple Tiara!

Race Replay
We return to the main track for the 3 year old feature, with 8 colts and fillies on the Triple Trail looking to make another statement in Dubai in this year's UAE Derby!
Dekada's Cahokia Sky will lead the way as the favorite today, and the statuesque white colt will need to his odds to be a factor today. Stablemate and 2 year old filly champ Girl Gone Wild is the narrow second choice and while she has had limited success on the Oaks trail, her talent has not diminished. 2 year old male champ Horus has had similar bad luck in his Derby trials, finishing second too many times to count and looking for that breakthrough win today in Dubai. Lovely Buchiko will look to continue her winning ways after scoring last out on the Oaks trail, while Lavender Hill's Coco will try to do the same after winning the Florida Derby over males last out. Yokai is the lone closer of the field and with so many front runners vying for the lead, he may just get the pace he needs for his explosive turn of foot. Rhapsody's Thistle hasn't had the best of runs lately but finishing third and second in her last two races has set her up well for a run in Dubai. Under The Mask is a leading contender on the Oaks trail, having won two preps, but has shown she hates to share the lead with anyone and will have to get away clean today to make an impact.
The sun is shining and spring is finally in the air as our Triple Crown and Tiara hopefuls hit the dirt for this year's UAE Derby!
