Hard Tack Olympic Thoroughbred Sale

We're fast running out of marathoners and sprinters - here's four foals bred from some of the best of my stock. You'll find a handful of Eclipse winners, Breeders' Cup winners and Dubai World Carnival winners, so you're gonna get some pretty good pedigrees with these kiddos!

Rules

You may apply for up to TWO HORSES - this is not 1st come, 1st serve
You are not guaranteed to get both horses you ask for! So make sure you label your preference!

Hard Tack STAYS in the prefix

You MAY NOT change their names - they will be registered under these names in the Jockey Club
You MAY create a show name but do not alter their call name, please
You MAY NOT change genders
DO NOT MPA - send back please!
Must be RACED in the future
Please contact me about breeding! My TBs are the only horses I have with rules about breeding, so please just send me a PM beforehand.

Applying for a Horse
Several members have said auctions are difficult for them due to differing time zones, so this is instead a set-price sale where you may apply for a horse. This isn't 1st come 1st serve, so feel free to apply for any horses that may have applications already.

I'll be choosing owners based on their history with the breed, their dedication to racing their own horses and their general member standing. However, if you're a newbie, don't worry - you can still apply! I love for members to jump into new disciplines, and the Olympics gives us a perfect starting point!

All horses come with their stats and abilities ready to go! They are immediately race ready and you can drop em into a juvenile Olympic qualifying race!

Why: I have a soft spot for the grey TBs and she is such a beauty! My stallion Velluto is also a grey, and it would be fun to start a lineage of grey TBs for my stable. I also see that ittle recessive creme gene

Plans: I will defiantely be racing her! I wanted to enter the olympic races, so the fact that she comes ready to drop in to qualifiers is amazing. Ill run her in those, and the race her until she maxes out. Once both her and Velluto have maxed out Ill probably see about setting her up to become a broodmare if possible. Ill also most likely show her in halter and possibly dressage (do we still have showjumping??) once she retires from racing!

Why: Where to begin! Firstly, I noticed he is a sibling to intuition which is one of my favourite race horses on the forum, and his bloodline is very promising. Secondly I’ve been keeping my eye out for a bay horse for sometime now, and his colouration is absolutely gorgeous! I love his piercing blue eyes too. Having only one other thoroughbred, I can promise you that he will be very very focused on, with racing as often as the races are being held! Since his stats and abilities are already picked out, I don’t have to worry about giving him incompatible abilities by mistake since I’m new which is such a weight off my shoulders.
Plans: I’ve wanted to get involve with the olympics sometime since joining, but since I’m so new I don’t have any horses quite ready to qualify! So getting him will mean I’ll actually be able to partake, and partake I certainly would. I’ll continue to race him after the olympics, until retirement. Once he’s retired I plan on putting him up for breeding, to continue his legacy and get some foals from him not only for myself but for others too. I also want to make some racing pixel art for him like I have for my other thoroughbred, and possibly enter him in halter or in-hand shows too.

Why: Well, all my horses are sprinters or middle distance runners and I don't have any marathoners! He inherited so much gorgeousness from his parents, I can't pass having that in my barn. I'm still getting the hang of racing, but as he is already ready to drop in on Olympic Qualifiers, I can start him in the right direction.
Plans: I will race him as steadily as I can, watching and playing his career carefully so I get the best out of him until he - hopefully - retires as a G1. From there, as with all my Thoroughbreds, he will be shown in other disciplines. I would like to breed him, carrying on his outstanding bloodlines to my, and/or your, Hard Tack horses once he has a few wins under his belt as a G3, at least.

I kept coming back and considering her, I just had to throw my hat in the ring for her as well, as I don't have many Thoroughbreds that are ready for the Olympics. I would love to have her join us at Windemere! She'd be my currently only - gorgeous - chestnut in a sea of darker colors and I'd love to race her to stand out on the track as well!
Plans:
I will start her off on the ground running (pun intended), placing her in qualifying races, and go from there. The end goal is to retire her as a G1 before breeding. After her racing career has come to a close she will move on to the show ring; dressage, show jumping, HUS, In-Hand, and Eventing. I will put all of her potential out there, and show her off as much as possible!
