Welcome to the Breeder's Cup Turf Sprint! At 7 furlongs, it is the shortest turf race on the Breeders' Cup card, and our speedy turf sprinters are gathering to do battle on the grass. Turf races have a tendency to go fast fast fast on this forum, and with several new records set in the preps, will one of these speed demons break the Turf Sprint record of 2013 or will they all burn themselves out on the way to the winner's circle?

For those of you who want to enter horses that are not already qualified, it will cost you 6 BC POINTS which will be deducted from your horse's total BC points found here. Once your horse has entered, I will subtract from your total and you'll be good to go! If you see I've made a mistake in calculating your points of your horses, please PM me!

+ Up to three horses per person, the gate fills at 14 horses but will race with less

Illusion was the narrow favorite in a field of graded winners and Breeders' Cup-placed champions, and he looked hopelessly beaten with a furlong to go as he was swung wide after running near the back of the field. But the big-striding grey dug deep and fended out a furious rally from Sulfur to his outside and an obstinate Vice Versa to run her down in the final strides to just get there in a thrilling three-way photo finish!

Illusion is Lavender Hill's first Breeders' Cup starter and first Breeders' Cup winner.

We're off and running in the Breeders' Cup!
