Welcome to the Breeder's Cup Sprint! At 7 furlongs, it is the shortest dirt race on the Breeders' Cup card, and it's veterans galore set for what may be their final battle before retirement at breakneck speed. Some of our entrants are coming up on their third try at the Sprint - will it be one of our warhorses to take the lead or will an up-and-comer snatch victory away for the last time?

For those of you who want to enter horses that are not already qualified, it will cost you 6 BC POINTS which will be deducted from your horse's total BC points found here. Once your horse has entered, I will subtract from your total and you'll be good to go! If you see I've made a mistake in calculating your points of your horses, please PM me![/div]

+ Up to three horses per person, the gate fills at 14 horses but will race with less

CONGRATULATIONS TO IMPULSIVE AND HARD TACK FOR WINNING THE BREEDERS' CUP SPRINT!

Impulsive was the longest shot on the board but he outran those 9 to 1 odds to lead the field gate to wire. Harried by both Chantilly and Overdraft in the beginning, he managed to shake them both off on the turn and withstood a cavalry charge in the stretch, with Checkers breathing down his neck just strides from the wire. The smallest horse in the field has won the biggest prize of all!

Impulsive is Hard Tack's 4th Breeders' Cup Sprint winner and and her second in a row after winning last year's edition.
