Welcome to the Breeder's Cup Mile! At 8 furlongs on the turf, the Mile has been a mecca for top grass milers from around the world to prove their mettle against some of the toughest competition on the card. Turf specialists from around the forum are gathering, including graduates from our Turf Triple Crown and filly Triple Tiara - will one of those younger sophomores provide the upset or will one of our favorite stalwarts stymie them to the end?

For those of you who want to enter horses that are not already qualified, it will cost you 8 BC POINTS which will be deducted from your horse's total BC points found here. Once your horse has entered, I will subtract from your total and you'll be good to go! If you see I've made a mistake in calculating your points of your horses, please PM me![/div]

CONGRATS TO LUSTRE AND RHAPSODY FOR WINNING THE BREEDERS' CUP MILE!

Lustre has a habit of appearing out of the clouds and he repeated his signature performance on the biggest stage of the year. Running dead last most of the race, he swung widest of all on the far turn and uncorked a devastating run to blow by a tiring Djinn - but had to contend with Turf Sprint winner Illusion and runner-up Checkers flying down the inside of the lane. It was a dogfight to the finish but the gritty warhorse put them both away to prevail by the narrowest of lengths.

Lustre is so far the only horse to win both the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint and Mile, after taking the 2019 Turf Sprint.
