Welcome to the Breeder's Cup Turf! At 12 furlongs on the turf, it is the same distance as some of the most prestigious races in the world and attracts the creme de le creme of the turf specialist crop. This year it looks like it'll be a battle between the marathoners and the routers as the majority of berths were won by marathoners that simply ran the routers off their feet. Can they keep that trend going all the way to the big time or will the turf routers take their revenge in that final long furlong?

For those of you who want to enter horses that are not already qualified, it will cost you 10 BC POINTS which will be deducted from your horse's total BC points found here. Once your horse has entered, I will subtract from your total and you'll be good to go! If you see I've made a mistake in calculating your points of your horses, please PM me![/div]

CONGRATULATIONS TO WARPAINT AND RHAPSODY FOR WINNING THE BREEDERS' CUP TURF!

Warpaint has had one hell of a career and after three tries at the Breeders' Cup, the flashy paint managed to get the job done in the Turf. Racing more forwardly than he usually does, Warpaint stalked the pace set by his Marathon-winning stablemate Accendere, rushing into striking position on the final turn. He turned on the afterburners with a furlong to go and it took nearly the entire stretch to run her down - with Candore flying between them out of the clodus to try and snatch the win from under Warpaint's nose! Warpaint put his younger stablemate in his place and held on by a determined head to finally get his Breeders' Cup colors.

Warpaint continues the marathoners' domination of the BC Turf, becoming the fifth marathoner to win the race and is Rhapsody's third winner of the card so far.
