Welcome to the Breeder's Cup Classic! At the classic 10 furlong distance on dirt, the Classic has made and broken careers and legacies across the world. As the last hurrah for many Thoroughbred runners, this year's Classic boasts one Triple Crown one, one two/thirds of a Triple Crown winner, one two/thirds of a Triple Tiara winner and the Dubai World Cup champion as just the Win and You're In entrants - more are sure to come! Will one of these storied horses take the final crown of the season or will it be snatched away in the final breath by a longshot primed for an upset?

For those of you who want to enter horses that are not already qualified, it will cost you 12 BC POINTS which will be deducted from your horse's total BC points found here. Once your horse has entered, I will subtract from your total and you'll be good to go! If you see I've made a mistake in calculating your points of your horses, please PM me![/div]

CONGRATULATIONS TO PAGAN AND RHAPSODY AT FOR WINNING THE BREEDERS' CUP CLASSIC!!

Once again, Pagan has proved why he is king of the mountain at Seeing Stars.

After missing to 2019 Triple Tiara winner Elysium last year, Pagan returned in 2020 with a vengeance. He broke poorly this time around and had to settle behind sophomore upstarts Horus and Coco, both of whom won dual classics in the spring, and settled himself in the middle of the field to bide his time. Virgo took over from Horus near the far turn with Coco poised to pounce, but it was Pagan that blew by between them to strike for the front as Horus rallied at the rail. Pagan managed to put himself a length in front - and there were Coco and Virgo to attack from both sides, crowding the big red machine as they thundered to the wire! Horus was only a beat behind, and the four roared to the wire in tandem with Pagan just managing to hold a Kentucky Oaks winner, a Dubai World Cup winner and a Kentucky Derby winner - what a spread!

Pagan is the FIRST TRIPLE CROWN WINNER in SS history to win the Breeders' Cup Classic - completing his own Grand Slam of the spring classics and the BC Classic!

Despite a delay from last year, the 2020 Breeders' Cup is in the books! It was an incredible year that saw two fantastic sophomores just barely miss their respective Triple Crown and Tiara, and the rise of two incredibly talented stables in Turn & Burn and Lavender Hill. Every stable entered this year either won or placed in the Top 3, and 8 of the 9 races were decided by less than a length - which attests to the unbelievable talent of every horse entered. While I know many are headed to the breeding shed after a banner year (or several) I hope to see their foals on the track very soon - and maybe back again this year!

THANK YOU, to every member that made this possible, and puts up with my love of this sport both on the forum and off of it.
