Since I raise all of my horses naturally and I want to do things as realistically as possible, I wanted a place where I could do a sort of log / blog type thing on them.

Comments on this thread are more than welcome and appreciated!

To start this out;

Our Horse Zipper has started showing in 3 Disciplines; Halter, In Hand, and Dressage

He has entered into 6 shows, only one has been judged so far and he got last place. I'm hoping with training and more skill on my part, we can see him do better than that!

Our Horse Seraphina has been training for the Races and has been entered in several.

She's already ran in 3 of them, coming in last in all 3. We are continuing to train her and get her more experience. We are hoping to see it start paying off over the next few weeks.

Seeing Neco offering her wonderful horses for breeding, I couldn't pass up the opportunity!

After a long ride in the trailer, this boy was full of energy! He arrived late at night, but there was no way we were going to get him settled in the stable with out a run in the paddock first!

Just take a look at this stunning boy!

After he got some of that energy out, we got to see a little bit of his sweet side;

I couldn't be happier with our new boy and I look forward to spending time with him, learning all about him, and training him! He will be growing up naturally so he'll start training and Racing once he's fully grown.

Look for more on this boy! I hope to start a Log / Update type thread in my Barn area for all of my horses.

Our mare 'Quin' has started training for Reining, we still have a lot to do with her but she is starting to get the hang of it. Here's some pictures I took of her yesterday;

Just a quick update, Quin has entered her first 4 Reining shows! We'll see how she does! I still have a lot of training to do with her, I've found her to be a very bold horse so hardly anything scares her or makes her back up. Makes getting the slide & back up pictures rather difficult to get! Luckily, she loves to spin!

I let Quin & our mare Bootsy meet our new boy 'Dream Gazer' today. Quin instantly took him under her wing. Here they are all sleeping together;

After all of that playing, he was worn out!

I was hoping to do a fun picture of all of my horses in front of our horse trailer, but I don't have time to do all the pics. After some delays, we loaded up all of our horses, our bags, and our two labs 'Muck' & 'Summer' and headed out on the World Tour! First stop.. Canada!

The horses are were all ancy in the trailer at first, but calmed down after they realized they were going to be in there for a while.

The weather was awful, lots of rain causing flash floods and delays. The road got washed out in places and we had to wait for dozers to move all of the mudd and water off of the road. After a LONG day and half the night, we finally arrived in Canada!

We arranged to stay at a Ranch that would have room for all of our horses, including our baby boy 'Dream Gazer', and allow us to continue our training while we aren't out competing.

We have our Arabian, Stallion, Zipper entered in 4 Dressage events through this tour with our eye open for more to open up. We want to get in as many as possible while we're here!

Our Arabian Mare, Bootsy, is still training for Endurance but we entered her in 5 events while we're here in Canada. We'll see how she does! We're hoping her training pays off!

Our Thoroughbred Mare, Seraphina, has been training hard in Racing! We feel like we have her at a good spot training wise, now it's up to her to gain experience through racing to get any better. She hasn't been doing great in our home races, but she's still getting the hang of it. She's entered into 4 Canada Races, and I'm looking forward to seeing how she does! Even if she doesn't perform well, it'll be a great experience for all of us!

We also have our mares, Quin & Zecora, here with us. We are hoping to see some Reining and Driving events open up while we're here so they can enter. If not, then we'll at least be able to continue their training!

Of course we have Dream Gazer here with us too, just here for the ride and gaining experience from being on the road and watching all of the events going on.

We heard of some Dock Trials going on for the dogs, so we're hoping to take a trip over there and enter our two labs, Muck and Summer to see how they do!

I'm guessing you'd like some pictures...

Well, I do have a couple I can post up here. Here's Zecora training for Driving;

And Bootsy in her first Canadian Endurance competition... we're still waiting for the results!;

We'll have more pictures to post of the rest of them soon!

In other news, we are looking to re-locate our ranch to somewhere that can accommodate us much better that what we have now. It has worked perfectly for our small herd of horses, but since we are looking to expand a little and possibly get more into Thoroughbred racing we could really use more room to work and more room for the horses. We'll let you know if we find something!

After a long day of competing, we have some good and bad and some great news!

First of all, Zipper competed in his Halter shows today and completely bombed both of them. He was acting up the whole time and got disqualified because he couldn't stand still. So we've upped his training in that area! However, he did come home with a 4th & 5th in 'In Hand' bringing him up to 6 points towards that title! Dressage left him 1 point off of being able to go up another level. Hopefully next competition!

Seraphina raced in her first race here in Canada and didn't do well. We feel she did gain some experience from it though and we're looking forward to her next race!

We've decided to try Zecora in Jumping. She competed in two competitions today and came home with a 4th and a 5th! Not too bad, but we certainly need to train harder to see her go far in this one.

We spent some time with Dream Gazer today, letting him check out some new things to see what he thinks. His real training won't start until he's a young adult. Here are his pics!

He's still full of energy! He met my horse Zipper today and they seemed to get on well together.

Now for the Great News! We seen Neco down at the racetrack and she mentioned she might have another little filly for me and I should come take a look. I did... and... fell in love! Look who we are bringing home with us;

<3 I just love her all ready! Her name is Starshot and is out of Neco's two Thoroughbreds; Di Neve & Moonshot

I put her in with Dream Gazer and they seem to be getting on well!

They are so cute together! They will start racing around the same time, so it'll be interesting to see how they do!

We have another new addition early this morning! We were looking for another Western Prospect horse and Pollution called us to say she thought she found the perfect boy for us! We headed straight over!

He still needs a name, but look who we brought home! (He's Hexed by Pollution) Thank you!!!

I love him so much <3 He is much calmer than Dream Gazer & Starshot, he loves to follow me around for petting. I am letting him settle a little bit before introducing him to the other two. I will also be finding him a fitting name! I am so happy with him

Honestly, she gave me those while trying to get her to do the 'Slide'. She loves the pumpkin so much she gets super excited and does the spin. The spin has been the easiest to get with her. I'd say find what your horse loves to do the most and go with that.

The world tour in Canada has been awesome and we're really enjoying ourselves over here!

Our mare 'Bootsy' placed 1st Place in her first Endurance Race and we couldn't be happier! We're hoping she can keep it up through the rest of the races she's entered in.

Our mare 'Seraphina' raced a good race yesterday! I'm happy to see some improvement! She stayed up with the leading horses for a while yesterday and I'm so proud of her. A bit more training and hopefully she'll keep climbing her way to the top!

Our mare 'Quin' has been entered in a few Western Pleasure competitions;

We're hoping she does good in them!

Our colt 'Dream Gazer' is now old enough to start training!

He did not like the halter at all! He put up a good fight.

After a bit of him fighting, we finally got him lunging. We'll be doing a lot of ground work with him until he's old enough to start training for the races.

In other news.... Back at home, we got a phone call from our staff saying we've received 3 new Thoroughbred foals in need of training. They will be training here with us, entering races, and eventually sold off through either Auctions or Claiming Races. Here's the picture they sent over for me;

We have; Dusty colored one (Remington) Male, Fawn colored one (Starship) Female, and Cream colored one (Flashback) Female

Looks like we'll have our hands full between our 3 new foals and the ones back at home! We're looking forward to it though! If you see one you like, keep an eye out once they are fully grown and racing! You might be able to get your hands on one

So, last night I came up with a super fun idea to do with Thoroughbreds, hence the 3 new foals above (all hexed by me). Basically, every now and then I'll get a random group of foals in between 2-5 of them. They will all be randomly hexed. I will then raise them naturally, train them for racing, enter them in some races, then sell them either through Auction or Claiming Races. Some might end up staying here depending on how they do / how fond I am of them.

Here's what I'm using to randomly hex them;

Randomly select a number for each one!

Group of: 2-5

Main Body Color: 10-129 (70-89 will be a texture)

Hair / Tail Color / Leg color: Main Body color (1) or Black (2)

White Markings legs: Left front (1), Right front (2), left back (3), right back (4), all four (5), two front (6), two back (7), front left & back right (8), front right & back left (9), None (10)

White markings face: small blaze (1), large blaze (2), white face (3), none (4)

Male (1), Female (2)

I am using Random.org to pick the numbers.

I am explaining this because I wanted to let who ever else wants to use this idea to feel free! It'd be fun to see others doing this too!

Also, Since it's all random, there's bound to be some repeat hexies pop up. The ones I hex I'll try to make unique in their own ways, but I appologize if some of them end up looking like other horses people have hexed before. It's not my intention. I won't be looking at other's horses before hexing, just going off of what the numbers tell me to do.

Thank you Fezznezz! Eye color is different for all of them, I did what ever color I thought would fit them best. All out of the color by buyfast"> chart

. I think I did 95 and maybe some others. I can't remember. Hoof color I think I did 40 or 45.

June 3rd, 2015-

We have returned from our trip to Canada and we're back in the US! We had such a wonderful time, and we look forward to our next tour out of the states!

We have been training hard with all of our horses and it really seems to be paying off! Here's an update on all of our adults;

Zecora- We are still waiting for the two Driving competitions we by buyfast"> entered

her into to be judged, so nothing new to report there. However, her Show Jumping is going great! So far she's gained 13 out of 30 Novice points!

Zipper- Since Zipper acted up so badly in the halter shows, we decided he needs more training before entering any more. Taking his place is our mare Bootsy. Dressage has been going okay for him, however he's having a difficult time getting past Level 1. In Hand we have nothing new to report since we are still waiting on results from the competitions we've by buyfast"> entered

him into. We decided Zipper needed to do something else as well, so we are giving him a try in Eventing! We're excited to see how he does!

Seraphina- Is by buyfast"> continually

getting better in her races and she seems to be getting faster. She performed very well in yesterday's race and we look forward to seeing her improve even more! I'll be thrilled to see her place anywhere between 1st & 5th! Yesterday she came in 6th, so close! She's also taken on another discipline; Hunter Under Saddle. She's been doing awesome there and has already gained 12 out of 30 Novice points!

Quin- Has made HUGE progress in her training for Reining! She's learning to Slide and doing a wonderful job at it! We are now working on her by buyfast"> 'Backing'

. She's starting to get the hang of it too. We are still waiting on results for her Reining Competitions. However, her Western Pleasure showing is going amazingly well! She has already gained 18 out of 30 Novice points! We'll be training her for Advanced competitions soon!

Bootsy- Bootsy has by buyfast"> earned

13 out of 30 Endurance points so far! We are so proud of her! She has also taken Zipper's place in Halter shows. We're looking forward to seeing how she does.

Now an update on our Foals;

Dream Gazer- Dream Gazer is getting bigger by the day! His training is going very well and we can't wait to get him into the races!!!

Starshot- Starshot is also getting bigger, her training will start soon!

Gunsmoke- Gunsmoke is getting bigger and his training will start soon too!

Starship, Remington, & Flashback- These three are so fun to watch! They are still too young to start training, but as soon as they are young adults, we'll start with them!

Paradise- This is our newest boy hexed by Arty! THANK YOU! I Love him so much <3 He is a Saddlebred colt and we hope after gaining him and Zecora some titles, to breed them in the future. I have a lot to learn about him still, but he is perfect!

Sorry for lack of info on the foals. They've had a ton of time out playing together, but I haven't been able to get in a whole lot of one on one time with each of them. So we'll be trying to remedy that!

Woo! It's my Birthday

29 years old, my last year of my 20's!

In other news...

Zipper is now an 'In Hand' Champion with 31/30 points!

We're so proud of him! He has also leveled up to Level 2 in Dressage and has completed his training for Halter shows and is back in the ring! He placed 2nd in his first show coming back and picked up 4 points! Zipper is doing well in Eventing too, though he keeps placing 4th and 5th. We're hoping with his training in Halter it will help his results in Eventing too.

Seraphina has graduated from Open Level races to GIII Racing Status!

She has also been doing extremely well in Hunter Under Saddle and only needs 1 more point for her Championship! We're going to have to find another Discipline to show her in!

Zecora is now a Show Jumping Champion with 45/30 Novice Points!

She is now showing in Advanced Show Jumping. I am thinking about trying her in Hunter Under Saddle once Seraphina picks up her last point.

Our mare Bootsy did not perform well in Halter, so she is taking a break while Zipper returns to the ring. We'll be working with her while while Zipper gains all of his points. We are still waiting on Endurance Show Results, so nothing new to report there.

Our mare Quin is doing awesome in Western Pleasure and is only 3 points from her championship!

This is all very exciting news for us since these are the first horses I've ever gotten to championship status in any discipline even though I've been a member of Seeing Stars for so long! I'm debating on showing them in advanced or not.

Now for our Foals!

Dream Gazer - Now age 75

Dream Gazer's training is going very well! He is now used to the halter and being handled. He'll willingly come up for petting and let us put his halter on now. He leads and lunges nicely. Our next step of training will be tacking him up! Wish us luck! He is completely in love with Starshot <3 I can't believe how big he is already! Can't wait to see him race!

Starshot - Now age 57

Starshot's training is also going very well! She handles the halter very well, lunges nicely, and also has no problem with us catching her, grooming her, or working with her feet. Here she's pictured practicing her running. She loves Dream Gazer... but also really seems to like our Pleasure Horse 'Gunsmoke'.

Gunsmoke - Now age 63

Gunsmoke is turning into quite the handsome guy! He is handling his training very well so far and will also start getting tacked up here soon. We can't wait to get him into Reining and Western pleasure shows!

Paradise - Now age 33

Paradise just recently started his training. As you can see, he's a little hesitant and still fights the lead rope a little. I'm sure he'll catch on soon!

Flashback - Now age 45

Flashback is taking to training very well already. She has given us little trouble at all and lunges very well. Hopefully once we start throwing the tack on her, she continues in this manner!

Remington - Now age 45

Remington is a highly spirited boy! He's not taking to his training nearly as well as Flashback and Starship. He fights us every step of the way, but we are making progress.

Starship - Now age 45

Starship is a little more hesitant than the other two. A little unsure of herself. We hope to see her come out of her shell more through out her training.

More good news today!

Bootsy has gained her Endurance Championship with 30/30 points! She is now competing in Show Jumping!

Zecora has started two new Disciplines; In Hand & Hunter Under Saddle!

Seraphina has started a new Discipline, taking Bootsy's place in Endurance! She has already picked up 10 points!

Then... we have a New Addition!

Rhapsody from Kataan @ RKO Haven!

She is lovely and already getting settled! I love her so much <3 We've already started training her more for Racing so once we get her stats looking better, she'll be entering her first races with me! I can't wait to see how she does. Thank you Kataan!

We also have another Thoroughbred foal on her way
