World Tour: UK & Ireland!

Welcome to the island nations of the United Kingdom and Ireland, two of the oldest and richest lands in history and in horse lore. From the native Celts with their horse goddess Epona to the modern day hot-blooded Thoroughbred, horses have steeped the history of these green islands for as long as anyone can remember and continue to do so into the modern age.

On your stop in the UK and Ireland, you'll find a number of fantastic sports and events to take advantage of, along with native horse breeds found nowhere else in the world to add to your stable.

Show Types
In our two island nations, you'll find a number of great sports to compete in. When you visit Ireland, you'll be able to compete in Eventing and Thoroughbred racing, while in the UK you'll have Driving and Show Jumping. Each show will be denoted with either "World Tour Ireland" or "World Tour UK" in their titles

Cultural Event
So you've heard of Hunters, but do you know why they were called that back in the old days? Foxhunting required horses of extreme agility and stamina, giving rise to the type of hunter horse we often see in shows today that excel at hunter under saddle and hunter over fences.

In our cultural event, you and your horse and hounds will be invited on a HUMANE fox hunting trip through the countryside! No foxes will be harmed in this of course; this foxhunting trip will be an obstacle course similar to cross country that you, your horse and any of your dogs will have to traverse as your dogs chase down the "scent" of a fox through the country. You'll have to jump brush, chicken coops, fences and traverse up and down the rolling hills of the UK and Irish countryside and keep up with your dogs to the finish in order to take down a cash prize for the fastest time and cleanest run. And make sure you do a head count at the end to make sure you didn't leave any of those brave hounds behind!

This show type will be decided by die and "stats" (similar to driving) that will decide the winner of the "hunt," so look for it very soon!

Adoptions
You will find horses and ponies galore in Ireland the UK! Irish Draughts, Thoroughbreds and Irish Cobs will dominate the Irish landscape, while Shetland ponies, Dales ponies and heavy drafts will be part of a choice contingent of horse breeds that are exported from the UK. All adoptions will have "World Tour Ireland" or "UK" in their title.

Dog/Cat Events
Dogs are welcome to join your roleplaying in the foxhunting event, but unfortunately we don't have anything for them this time around. Stick around for our next stop to see if we have anything for your barn dogs and cats to excel at!
