World Tour: France
Welcome to the ancient and storied country of France, once of the heart of the European continent and the birthplace of high fashion and spirited horses. Though we come from their once bitter enemies in the UK, there is nothing but open arms here in the wonderful world of French-bred horses, ranging from the leggiest of warmbloods to the heaviest of the drafts.
Here in France, you'll find a number of shows, horses and events to pique your interest and catch your fancy, so please enjoy your stay!
Show Types
In France, you'll find a number of disciplines to fit any of your horses needs. For your more spirited mounts, show jumping and eventing will be the disciplines for you. Dressage will suit any horse with a more patient personality, while driving will help focus and test your horse's strength and agility as they prance about our indoor arena.
Cultural Event
Have you always been interested in Classical Dressage but never had the chance to try it or just couldn't get your horse to stop goofing off? In France, you'll have a chance to rectify that with our Classical Dressage Clinic!
In the Clinic, you and your horse will learn to move as one with training focused on your sportsmanship and the horse's suppleness to perform the necessary moves. Our trainers will help your horse learn to focus and perform a half dozen moves required in many dressage shows and trials, honing his and her skills to the point where no one will be able to match your mount's ease of movement. In order to pass this clinic, your horse must perform each move to the satisfaction of the trainer (judge) with as few faults as possible.
Any horse that passes the clinic will receive a certificate proclaiming it a Classic Dressage Champion and may just receive a boost in any dressage show that horse enters!
Adoptions
You will find a number of horse breeds available for adoption in France! The Carmargue pony is one of the oldest horse breeds in the world and endemic to France, while for someone looking for a more leggy animal, we'll have numerous warmbloods for all your dressage needs and mighty drafts and Percherons for those that want a hardier horse for our driving competitions.
Dog/Cat Events
Unfortunately we don't have anything for them this time around. Stick around for our next stop to see if we have anything for your barn dogs and cats to excel at!
We hope you enjoy your stay in France!
