So after a semi-break due to my personal life, I am back with MORE THOROUGHBREDS (shocking I know) and a few other random ponies that just can't chill out in the shadows of their flashier counterparts. Because honestly, I can't just be "that guy" anymore. Srsly u guiz.
This is Desi whom I bought from Mak like a billion years ago lol. Like, old forum billion years ago. I think she's an Oldenburg and was offered with a few other foals at the time but I am SUCH A SUCKER FOR GREYS that I could not say no haha. Warmbloods aren't usually my thing but damn she has got some personality; she gives me the business all the time so I'm not sure what I'm doing with her yet.
Little Silver Charm was a hex request fulfilled by Angora and oh my godddd I'm so happy. This dude was hexed after the real Little Silver Charm that lives at Old Friends Kentucky - a wonderful facility that takes in pensioned stallions and mares and retired TBs to give them a forever home after their careers are over. They have such amazing animals like Game On Dude, Amazombine, Eldafaar and the BIG Silver Charm; YOU CAN EVEN PET ALL THE PONIES. So now I have my own little mascot, who is just as dickish because he's a Shetland and all Shetlands are a-holes. See?
Chincoteague ponies are a breed near and dear to me and little Squall is no exception! Aragorn hexed him via his hexing service and oh my, he's a sassy little dude! Unlike my other Chincoteaguers, he's not as willing to try new things and flat out refuses to even come when called - hence this look on his face whenever I ask him to do something:
Nick is a tremendous Quarter Horse stallion I'm leasing from Mak and he champed in both In-Hand and Western Pleasure is just a week or two with mainly firsts and seconds. Apparently none of Mak's QH mares like him in the least; HOWEVER, my lonely girl Macha immediately fell in love and I totes think they are perfect for each other. I mean, look at them. LOOK AT THEM.
Cabaal is a 2nd gen TB by my stallion Corkscrew out of Kataan's great mare Mahubah, and he's the first grey I've hexed in this style and I think he came out quite nicely! He's also a very gentle colt and is very people oriented, though being a Hard Tack Thoroughbred he's weird as shit and can't seem to stand still even when he's standing still. Like come on guys, LET ME TAKE PICTURES OF YOU.
Hells Bells is by my stallion Markham out of Akmu's Chime and this horse is a dick and I want to punch him in the face HA HA. No srsly he's such a butthole and I don't even know what to do with him - he's mean to my other horses, has a penchant for biting ALL THE THINGS and it seriously took me about 15 minutes to just get him to stand still; add another 15 to get a decent effing In-Hand picture. He's a good looking horse but like all beautiful ponies, he is a douche. True facts.
Into Temptation is a horse I won in a raffle from Angora and I didn't realize he was a dude until I opened him in game - SURPRISE LOL. He's actually one of the sweetest horses I have and all he wants to do is sit there, look fabulous and try to get some lovin on. I love this color combo and I have no idea why I don't have more like him, I MUST REMEDY THIS.
Moon Boy is a stallion I bought from Garthur a while back, because I LOVE SEAL BROWNS and he looked like a fancy son of a gun. Apparently he is and apparently he's super weird - he's obsessed with catching mice and will just stand there waiting for them to come out of the holes, then proceed to chase them about the living room. I'm hoping this translates into him wanting to run on the track but hey, if that doesn't work out, I got me an exterminator pony on call for all of your mice hunting needs!
Roman Flame I bought from Fuzzy off her fantastic new TB mod and he's just a doll. He gave me a super in-hand pose first time out and I'm sure if I had the inclination (aka patience haha) to get a halter pose from him, I'm sure he'd do fantastic in that discipline as well. I'm quite excited to see him hit the track, as he seems like he's going to be a nice turf runner, which I need more of. Turf might just be my favorite racing surface, honestly.
Shook Up is a filly I won in a raffle from Angora and my god this poor girl is neurotic is ****. As soon as I brought her out, she flipped her shit over EVERY SINGLE THING and would just stand there looking terrified at everything. The only thing she's not afraid of is the hoop - I brought it out and she immediately started jumping! She's going to be my next jumper and I've already entered her in a number of Eventing shows; she placed 2nd in her first show and is proving that even if running isn't in her future, he's a versatile filly despite her fear.
