World Tour: United Arab Emirates
Welcome to the United Arab Emirates, not quite a country but rather a conglomeration of Arabic countries to form a super-metropolis of wonder and decadence. Dubai is only one of the many sparkling cities of this coalition of allies and is home to some of the richest and most popular horse sports in the world, including the $10 Million Dubai World Cup. The horse is worshipped and celebrated in all parts of the UAE, as desert tribes from all over the region have used the horse for thousands of years prior to the formation of the UAE and in the modern times that hasn't changed one iota.
Here in the UAE, you'll find a number of shows, horses and events to pique your interest and catch your fancy, so please enjoy your stay on the last stop of the SS World Tour!
Show Types
It wouldn't be the UAE without some fabulous racing! Thoroughbred racing is the most popular sport in the UAE, with the Dubai World Carnival a brilliant testament to this. However, that's not the only show you'll find in this sandy paradise. Endurance racing through the many extremes of the region will be present, as well as the ever popular show jumping to show off your other horse's talents!
Cultural Event
What would Arabia be without the Arab horse? The coordinators of this tour are EXTREMELY proud to present a brand new potential discipline to SS through our tour - ARABIAN HORSE RACING!
Arabian racing will be held in much the same capacity as Thoroughbred racing is held, with your Arabians needing stats, abilities and distance and surface preferences. You will be able to train and enter any and all of your Arabians in a number of races on your stay in the UAE and if it proves popular enough, there is a chance we may end up making this a permanent fixture on SS!
Adoptions
Thoroughbreds are one of the most popular breeds in the UAE, due to the enormous presence of the Dubai Carnival, but Arabians aren't far behind the Thoroughbred in preference, and you'll find both breeds in abundance during your stay in the UAE.
Dog/Cat Events
Unfortunately we don't have anything for your smaller partners but I'm sure they're more than happy to look at all the horses surrounding your barn on your final stop. Who wouldn't, right?
