Endurance Rules & Guidelines
by FuzzyRules
::Official rules and system made by Fuzzy.
::High quality entries only (.png or .gif).
::One entry per person.
::Show closes at 5 entries.
::Pose must be in walk, trot, or canter. No gallop!
::Pose must be facing right.
::The picture may be transparent, have eyeshines, body shading, mane/tail edits, or an outline. However, do not edit the actual movement of the horse like you would in Showmanship.
::You may add a background to your entry.
::The horse must be wearing some form of tack (English or Western).
::Make sure the eye is not sleepy or surprised, either will be disqualified.
::A horse is champed at 30 points.
Hosting A Show
::When opening a show, make sure the region is clearly stated in the title or sub-title.
::There are five regions to compete in: mountains, plains, desert, rainforest, and beach. A horse may be "great" in two of these, "good" in the other two, and "bad/poor/okay" in one. If a horse enters a show in which it specializes in (this would be "great") it earns three bonus points because it's best at that region. It also works this way for "good" regions, only instead of three bonus points, it's only one.
::For every entry, four dice will be rolled, resulting in four different numbers per entry.
::The first three rolls will be even (the dice will be rolled until an even number shows up), and the last number will be odd.
::Each number has its own different meaning. Even numbers are added, and the odd number is subtracted.
::The goal of each entry is to be the one with the most "strides".
::Example: Say, entry 1 got the rolls 2,2,4,5 and had a bonus of 3. To calculate, you would add all even numbers (2,2,4) and the bonus (3), but subtract the odd number (5). So, it would look like this: 2 + 2 + 4 - 5 + 3 = 6. After totaling all of the entries' rolls, placings are awarded from highest to lowest total.
::Placing is the same as all other disciplines.
::In the event of a tie, roll another die for each entry that is tied, and place them from highest to lowest roll.
