Breeding
So you're interested in breeding to one of my high class studs or broodmares? You've come to the right place! Here is where I keep all my breeding rules, and horses available for breeding =]
My Rules:
-I will not breed a V1 to one of my V2s. Don't ask, because chances are I'll ban you from breeding to any of my horses in the future.
-I have the V2 files, so I can hex the foal/s if it's needed =]
-I'll only hex up to 2 foals, one for you, and one for me.
-The horse you're interested in breeding must be a champ in some show category.
-Some of my studs and broodmares are hexed by other people besides me, so I'll have to get their permission before breeding.
-You must be a trusted, active member on SS, and I have all rights to deny you a breeding.
-All individual rules can be found in the horse's profiles.
Status Meanings:
Available- This horse was hexed by me and can be bred at any time.
Depends- This horse is available for breeding, but I must get the hexer's permission first.
Limited- This horse is not openly available, and a breeding must be offered by me, regardless of who the hexer is.
Exclusive- This horse is only available for me to use in breeding and is not publicly available.
Currently Showing- This horse is currently being shown, but will be available to breed once they are champed.
How do I know who is available to breed with?
Any horse that is champed in a discipline and can potentially be bred with has a ribbon in their title. A ribbon signifies that the horse is champed in one discipline, while any additional disciplines they have champed in are denoted by a asterisk (*). Thoroughbreds currently racing have their level (Open, GIII, GII, or GI) in their title. At Briarwood, a Thoroughbred is open for breeding when it enters the GIII level. Additional rules for that specific horse are listed in their profile.
Requesting a Breeding:
To request a breeding, fill out the following form and PM it to me. The subject needs to be "Breeding Request" so I clearly know what you're PMing me about. Make sure you have read all of my general rules, as well as the horse's personal rules before submitting.
