Allegro is a beautiful 7yr old black overo stallion. He's a western pleasure dream, and we're working on maybe getting him into some hunter classes as well. He is very stallion headed, and needs to know his rider is in charge or will quickly take advantage of them. But with a firm, educated hand he's a wonderful mount.

FiL Spotlight Horse

When he's not working, Allegro is quite the snow bunny! He loves zipping around his paddock, and often needs to be watched to prevent him from over exerting.

Allegro has been schooling pretty consistently with our english trainers. It took us awhile to find a bridle he was comfortable schooling in, but eventually the drop nose band Micklem bridle and a happy mouth bit was just what he needed. Can you tell our trainers have a thing about matching?

With temperatures dropping, it was time for Al to get a haircut! Clipping him helps keep him from getting overly sweaty/overheated during his schooling sessions.

In addition to his english schooling, Al has also begun schooling for reining. This helps keep him fresh during his english sessions, as he's a very high energy horse.

We're hoping to finish Allegro with 5 titles, where he will then be retired to stud for FiL Farms
