Hey guys.
I'm really sorry that I haven't been around, and for now, it seems like that's going to have to continue.
My family is in some deep financial trouble - seeing as I've been financially independent from them for a few years, I'm just fine, but they are having to sell their house and move to a smaller one to resettle some of their debts, and more than likely, we're going to have to give Jack and George to an equine rescue. They're both in their teens, Jack is nearly 20, and both of them have their issues where, given the current economy, it's very very unlikely they would sell. Jack recently messed up his left eye, he either has a displaced retina, or just whacked it good enough that he can't see. Time will tell. George can't be ridden because of his hind legs (calcification, injury in his other leg). Neither are fit for anything more than companion horses, and since I can't take them on, and my family definitely can't keep them, a rescue is their only hope.
I've been working two jobs for nearly a month now, and it's draining me of what little energy I had since I moved back to Denton. I'm on the hunt for a "real" job, with benefits and better pay, but it's not looking so great right now. Things are just, existing, right now, it doesn't feel like there's much of a point to my life, and there's more bad days than good, but I have good friends that give me that kick in the ass to say "hey you're going to be fine, you just have to get back up." I'm going to be fine, but I'm going through a lot right now.
I'll be happy to send back any horses to their original hexers - just send me an email at horseluvinhedy@gmail.com, and I'll dig out my external drive. I'm sad to be going, especially at a time like this when it seems the community is thriving, but I really just don't have the time.
I love you all, and I hope to come back someday.
Lots and lots of love,
Heather
