Welcome to the USA Juvenile Dirt Mile qualifier! The horses in first and second place in this race will be automatically entered in the Rio Juvenile Dirt Mile Qualifier at the 2016 SS Rio Olympics.
This is a juvenile level qualifier, which means the following horses may enter:
- ANY OL horses, even those with stats over 69 (as long as they are still open level)
- GIII horses with all stats lower than 69
If your horse happens to graduate to non-juvenile because of this race, but has qualified, he will be run in the juvenile olympic race using the stats that were entered here.
Horses will be weighted as such:
OL horses: 112
Juvenile GIIIs: 116
Upper GIIIs: 120
GIIs: 126
GIs: 130
+ Please post the entire form when entering
+ Up to three horses per person, will race AT A MAX OF 14 HORSES
PLEASE NOTE. When entering, COUNT THE HORSES IN FRONT OF YOU. Only 14 horses max are allowed per race - please make sure when you enter, you are not over the limit. I do not want to have DQ anyone for any reason.
This race will be run by Neco

It's a beautiful sunny day here on the East Coast and the first of our Juvenile Rio Qualifiers is about to begin! 11 horses will step onto the track for the Juvenile Dirt Mile Qualifier here in the USA, and it's headed the double whammy of Rhapsody Stables' Delirium and Songbird, top dirt sprinters and first and second choice on the morning line. Fifth Month follows closely behind, another sharp stakes winner from Elbeess, along with Dekada's Cancer coming in at the fourth choice, with Baldur and Playter Hater from Hard Tack coming in off sharp performances in their prior races. FiL is represented by their multiple stakes winner Best Coast, a known and dangerous speedster, with Reed Kennels making an appearance with Darude Sandstorm and stalwart RKO entering their flashy colt Man o War for his shot at Rio. Burning Acres will enter their recent acquisition Boudicca, a graded stakes winner in her own right but still searching for the winners' circle after a skid.
It's a great field assembled for this first Juvenile Dirt Mile qualifier with stakes winners galore as we set them up in the gate for their one mile journey to victory!
The Road to Rio continues here on SS!
