Welcome to the USA Juvenile Turf Mile qualifier! The horses in first and second place in this race will be automatically entered in the Rio Juvenile Turf Mile at the 2016 SS Rio Olympics.
This is a juvenile level qualifier, which means the following horses may enter:
- ANY OL horses, even those with stats over 69 (as long as they are still open level)
- GIII horses with all stats lower than 69
If your horse happens to graduate to non-juvenile because of this race, but has qualified, he will be run in the juvenile olympic race using the stats that were entered here.
Horses will be weighted as such:
OL horses: 112
Juvenile GIIIs: 116
Upper GIIIs: 120
GIIs: 126
GIs: 130
+ Please post the entire form when entering
+ Up to three horses per person, will race AT A MAX OF 14 HORSES
PLEASE NOTE. When entering, COUNT THE HORSES IN FRONT OF YOU. Only 14 horses max are allowed per race - please make sure when you enter, you are not over the limit. I do not want to have DQ anyone for any reason.
This race will be run by Neco

The sun has not deserted us here on the East Coast as our second Juvenile Qualifier is about to go off! It's a full field for this 8 furlong turf contest headed by the top turf horse Lustre from Rhapsody, along withi his stablemate Bolo, who has conquered the lower ranks with ease and jumps up in class. Roman Flame is Shaska's only entrant in this race and comes off a smart third in a previous mile turf race for his new owner, while Desperado for FiL returns to action once again for his chance at Rio. Shizuka from Hard Tack is looking for a place in the Olympics but may be against it after two subpar efforts, while Sun Kissed from Elbeess looks to improve her record as she too jumps up in class. Purple Heart and Lady Luna from Burning Acres are both two accomplished fillies with impeccable breeding, and Lady Luna will try to emulate her mother with a trip to Rio. Jeopardy returns in new colors for Blue Jay and will be looking for a fast pace here that is sure to be set by Ghostbuster from OBS, a newcomer to the racing scene but dominating with their grey colt. Cancer and Game of Thrones from Dekada are both interesting plays here along with Golden Delight from Reed Stables, and RKO returns once again with Flare, the longest shot on the board but still a filly that loves to get a piece when the pace is right.
It's a full field of black type winners galore as both graded and minor stakes winners step into the gate for this Juvenile Turf Mile qualifier and it's anybody's race as they're loaded into the gate for their one mile journey!
The Road to Rio continues here on SS!
